Elixir

Elixirs are finishing and targeted care products designed to support a healthier-looking coat, smoother texture and more polished grooming result. This collection includes four Tauro Pro Line elixirs: nourishing, repairing, calming and energizing formulas. Each one has a different purpose, making it easier to choose a product based on your pet’s coat condition, skin comfort or grooming goal.

Elixirs are a natural fit within the fixation stage of skin and coat care products. It can be mixed into shampoos or conditioners or used separately as a coat mask, completing the routine by adding shine, manageability and extra care where needed. They can be especially useful for coats that look dull, feel dry, tangle easily or need a more refined finish after washing.

The nourishing elixir is suited for general skin and coat support, while the repairing option is useful for coats that need deeper hydration and smoother texture. The calming elixir is designed for comfort-focused care, especially when the pet needs a gentler approach. The energizing hair growth elixir is best positioned for intensive coat therapy and revitalizing care.

Elixirs can be used as part of a full grooming routine or alongside 3-in-1 sets when extra finishing care is needed. Choose the formula based on the result you want: softness, shine, hydration, comfort or coat revitalization.

What are pet coat elixirs used for?

Pet elixirs are used to add targeted care after washing, conditioning or brushing. Depending on the formula, they may help support shine, softness, hydration, skin comfort or a smoother coat finish. These elixirs are usually the final step in grooming, making the coat look more polished. They are especially useful when the coat needs more care than shampoo and conditioner alone.

How do I apply an elixir to my pet's coat?

You can add Tauro Pro Line elixirs to your pet’s shampoo or conditioner. All you need is 10-15 drops of any elixir you chose, mixed into the shampoo or conditioner, then you apply it to the pet’s coat and massage it into the skin, so it covers everything from roots to tips. Leave it in for 3-5 minutes and rinse it out thoroughly. Alternatively, you can use it as a coat mask by applying the elixir directly to the pet’s coat, massaging it gently into the hair and skin, then leaving it on for 20-30 mins before you wash it with a shampoo and rinse the coat thoroughly.

Which elixir should I choose for a dry-looking coat?

The nourishing or repairing elixir would usually be the most relevant choice for dryness, dullness or rough texture.

Can elixirs help with itchy or sensitive skin?

A calming elixir may help support a more comfortable grooming routine for pets with sensitive or irritated-feeling skin.
