Two years at the top — and the work behind each result

Tauro Davinci — #1 Pomeranian in the USA, 2025

The #1 position in the U.S. rankings is earned through results across a full year of shows. A dog must perform consistently and compete against top dogs across the country.

In 2025, that position belonged to Tauro Davinci. He earned U.S. Grand Champion Gold status, won Best in Show at AKC all-breed shows, and also holds World Winner titles from Europe. His results reflect strong breeding, careful preparation, and consistent performance throughout the season.

Tauro Burgundia — #1 Pomeranian in the USA, 2024

One year earlier, Tauro Burgundia held the same #1 position. She earned U.S. Grand Champion Gold status, was named Best of Opposite Sex at the 2024 AKC National Championship, and became the American Pomeranian Club’s Top Bitch of 2024.

Two Tauro Kennel dogs reaching #1 in two consecutive years shows the consistency behind the kennel’s breeding, nutrition, training, and coat care.

The AKC National Championship — The Work Behind the Results

At the 2024 AKC National Championship in Orlando, Tauro Burgundia earned Best of Opposite Sex. Tauro Pranciškus and Tauro Zanzibar received Awards of Excellence, while Tauro Pagma completed her American Champion title.

These results begin long before the dogs enter the ring. Preparation includes regular coat care, physical conditioning, movement and handling practice, and helping each dog feel comfortable around noise, crowds, and unfamiliar surroundings. It also takes a team of handlers and groomers who understand the needs and character of every dog.
