Meet Mackensie

A life devoted to dogs and the people who care for them.

Mackensie Murphy is a second-generation dog groomer whose career spans nearly 20 years. A multi-Best in Show winner and one of the most decorated competitive groomers in the world, she has educated groomers around the globe for more than 15 years.

Her expertise spans everyday pet grooming, show coat preparation, and international grooming competition. She brings deep knowledge of Tauro products to each setting, adapting her approach to the dog, its coat, and the result she needs to achieve. American Cocker Spaniels have been a lifelong passion throughout that work.

In the show ring

American Cockers have always been part of her story.

Mackensie has also stepped into the AKC show ring as a handler. She has presented her American Cocker Spaniel, Hope, to notable specialty wins, while eight-month-old Polo, Laurent’s High Horse, completed his championship in just three shows.

Her experience with the breed extends from grooming and competition to preparing and presenting dogs in the show ring for multiple breeders and handlers. She applies her Tauro product knowledge to show coat care as well as everyday pet grooming, choosing the routine that suits each dog’s coat and presentation goals.
